About this site
tradeonarcus is an independent guide to Arcus, the stock token and perps DEX on Robinhood Chain. It is not run by Arcus Labs, it is not endorsed by them, and nobody there has read a word of it before you did.
Who writes it
My name is Andrew Budai. I have been trading and investing in crypto since 2017, mostly around DeFi and the long tail of tokens, which is the background I bring to this site. You can find me on X, @BearOfAltStreet, and readers gather in the tradeonarcus Telegram group.
Every guide here is written and maintained by me. There is no content team and no outsourced writing.
How the guides are written
These are research guides, not hands-on reviews, and the difference matters. Everything here comes from what Arcus publishes on arcus.xyz and in its help centre, from the dYdX blog, and from reporting in outlets like The Block and Cointelegraph, plus public data from DefiLlama and CoinGecko. Each page lists its sources at the bottom.
The rules I hold myself to:
- No invented experience. You will never read "I opened a position" on this site, because I have not published session notes to back it up. Where the product is undocumented, the page says so.
- No invented users. No made-up reviews, no imaginary Reddit quotes, no profit screenshots.
- The blocked countries come first. Arcus is not available in the United States, the United Kingdom or Canada, and any page about signing up says so near the top rather than in a footnote.
- No token talk. Arcus says it has no token and that its points are discretionary. Sites claiming a confirmed Arcus airdrop are wrong, and this one will not repeat them.
- Numbers get a date and a source. Arcus and DefiLlama report volumes that differ by an order of magnitude, so both appear with their sources rather than whichever flatters the product.
- Corrections over quiet edits. If something here is wrong, tell me and I will fix it and change the updated date on the page.
How the site makes money
Through the Arcus referral programme. Links marked as referral links open Arcus with our code, and if you sign up and trade perps through them, this site may earn a share of the trading fees you pay. It does not change what you pay, and Arcus publishes no discount or bonus for referred users, so do not expect one.
Worth knowing: spot trading on Arcus carries no Arcus fee at all, and maker fees are zero for most tiers during beta, so any referral income comes from perps takers. There are no ads, no sponsored posts and no paid placements. Pages carrying a referral link say so above the link.
Languages
English only for now. If the site adds languages later, the translations will follow the same facts and the same rules, and this page will say so.
Contact
Corrections, questions, and anything I have got wrong: use the form below. It goes straight to my inbox. I cannot help with your Arcus account, a stuck deposit or a liquidated position, because this is not Arcus. For that, use the support channels on arcus.xyz.
