Arcus not working? Status, support and the usual causes

Arcus not working usually comes down to four things rather than an outage:

• You are in a blocked country.
• You have no ETH on Robinhood Chain to pay gas.
• A bridged deposit is still in transit.
• The perps section is invite-gated, and therefore closed to you. Arcus codes explains what that gate is.

Work through those before assuming the venue is broken.

The status line above this paragraph is maintained by hand, not pulled from a live feed, because Arcus does not publish a status endpoint that could be verified. Treat it as a note, and check Arcus’ own channels for anything happening right now.

Start with eligibility, because it looks like a bug

Arcus is not available in the United States, the United Kingdom or Canada. The Terms also exclude sanctioned persons and comprehensively sanctioned regions, naming Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk, and set a minimum age of 18.

If you are in one of those places, the symptoms read like faults. Pages that will not load past a check, a connect flow that stops, a deposit screen that never appears. Nothing is misconfigured. Two things worth saying flatly. Arcus does not publish a workaround, and nothing on this site is one. And eligibility is not softened by the mobile pre-order: pre-orders opened in 160 App Store countries, which is an Apple distribution list rather than a protocol eligibility check, as covered on the Arcus app page.

No ETH for gas, which is the single most common real fault

You pay gas in ETH on Robinhood Chain. Not USDG, not Stock Tokens, not the asset you deposited. ETH, on that chain specifically, bridged in.

This catches people who did everything else right. You fund with a card, the money converts to USDG, your balance looks healthy, and then every action fails because there is nothing to pay fees with. Arcus names it as a real onboarding friction point, and the fix is to bridge a small amount of ETH to Robinhood Chain and retry.

A deposit that has not landed is usually still moving

Arcus takes deposits from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Solana and Bitcoin in USDC, ETH or BTC, with a minimum of about $3, and converts everything to USDG. Those routes bridge, and Arcus shows an estimated time before you approve.

Before raising a ticket, do three things in order.

1. Check how long the estimate said it would take, and whether that window has actually passed.
2. Find the transaction on the source chain’s explorer and confirm it left.
3. If it has confirmed on the source chain and the estimate has expired, contact support with the transaction hash, because that is the only thing that makes a deposit traceable.

Withdrawals behave differently depending on destination. Arcus says a withdrawal to a Robinhood Chain wallet takes a few seconds, with no minimum and no protocol cap, while other chains bridge and show an estimate first. So a slow withdrawal is almost always a bridge, and the detail is on Arcus withdrawals.

Bridges also carry third-party network and bridge fees that vary by route. Arcus adds nothing of its own and shows a breakdown before you approve, but no basis-point schedule is published, so the number you see at approval time is the number.

Perps are gated, not down

If you can trade spot but the perps side is unavailable, that is the design. Arcus replaced its waitlist with invite codes on 1 October 2026. One code is minted per $1 million of qualifying perps volume, counting your own plus your direct referrals’, codes never expire, and they cannot be transferred, sold or reassigned. Arcus puts it plainly: the only way to get a code is from someone already trading on Arcus.

Quotes, spreads and orders that behave oddly

Spot Stock Tokens trade through request for quote. A market maker prices your order, you accept or you do not, and quotes are short-lived. Arcus charges 0% on spot, so the cost is in the quote, and Arcus says slippage widens outside US market hours. A quote that looks wrong at 3am on a Sunday is often just an honest quote for a market with nothing to hedge against.

On perps, stop-loss and take-profit orders trigger on mark price, not last traded price, which is a frequent source of “my stop did not fire” confusion. Order types documented at launch are market, limit, stop-market, stop-limit, take-profit, stop-loss and reduce-only. TWAP, trailing stops, OCO and time-in-force options are not documented, so an order type you cannot find may simply not exist, as covered on Arcus order types.

Where to check status and get support

There is less here than you would like, and pretending otherwise would not help.

Arcus does not publish a status page or incident history that could be verified, and no security incident, exploit or outage was found in any source as of 2 October 2026. The documented resource is the Arcus help centre, which carries the eligibility, funding, gas and withdrawal pages referenced above, plus in-app support. Two habits worth keeping. Confirm you are on arcus.xyz rather than a lookalike before connecting anything, because a product with a pre-order listing and no shipped app attracts impersonators. And never enter a seed phrase for a support request, since Arcus’ own onboarding uses Privy embedded wallets with no seed phrase step at all.

Risk, stated plainly

None of the fixes above change the underlying risk. Leveraged perpetual positions can be liquidated and most leveraged traders lose money. Stock Tokens are not shares: no voting rights, no dividend claim as such, not necessarily redeemable, and the price can diverge from the real stock.
