Arcus withdrawals: timings, limits and bridging
Disclosure: this page contains a referral link. If you sign up through it and trade perps, this site may earn a share of the fees you pay on Arcus. It does not change what we write or what you pay.
An Arcus withdrawal to another Robinhood Chain wallet takes a few seconds, with no published minimum and no protocol cap. Sending anywhere else means bridging, which shows an estimated time before you confirm and carries third-party fees that vary by route. Arcus adds nothing of its own.
That split matters more than the headline speed. A same-chain transfer is a plain on-chain send and behaves like one. A withdrawal to Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Solana or Bitcoin is a bridge transaction, and bridges have their own timings, their own fees and their own failure modes. The two are worth treating as different operations with different expectations.
Withdrawing to a Robinhood Chain wallet
- Make sure the funds are actually free. Balances backing open perps positions are not withdrawable, because perps collateral sits in Robinhood Chain contracts and moves only under user-authorised conditions. Close or reduce positions first.
- Check you hold a small amount of ETH on Robinhood Chain. Gas there is paid in ETH, not USDG, so a withdrawal with no ETH in the account cannot be signed at all.
- Open the withdrawal screen and choose Robinhood Chain as the destination network. This is the fast path, and the one with no published minimum and no protocol cap.
- Paste the destination address and check it character by character. Arcus is self-custodial and says it never holds your funds or keys, which also means a send to the wrong address has no support reversal.
- Enter the amount. USDG is the balance currency, so a withdrawal is usually a USDG transfer unless you are moving Stock Tokens or another asset you hold.
- Review the gas estimate and approve the transaction in your wallet. The help centre describes this class of withdrawal as completing in a few seconds.
- Confirm arrival at the destination. A Robinhood Chain block explorer will show the transaction, which is the only confirmation that does not depend on an interface telling you it worked.

What Arcus publishes, and what it does not
The help centre states that same-chain withdrawals take a few seconds, with no minimum and no protocol cap. That is unusually clear for a DEX and worth taking at face value for the same-chain case.
Several related numbers are not published. There is no published withdrawal fee schedule in basis points. A deposit and withdrawal basis-point table appears on at least one price aggregator, but it does not appear on any Arcus page, so it is not something to rely on.
Arcus also does not publish bridge fee figures, because those belong to the bridge operators rather than to Arcus. If you need a number before you commit, the interface’s own breakdown before approval is the only authoritative one.
Withdrawing to another chain
Anything leaving Robinhood Chain bridges. Arcus supports Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Solana and Bitcoin as deposit networks, and withdrawals follow the same routes in reverse. Arcus says an estimated completion time is shown before you approve, which is the right way to read bridge timing: as an estimate that depends on the route, not a service-level guarantee.
The cost is third-party. Network fees on both sides plus whatever the bridge charges, varying by route and by congestion. Arcus says it adds nothing and shows a breakdown first.
In practice, bridging a small balance to Ethereum can cost a meaningful percentage of it, while routes to Base or Arbitrum tend to be cheaper. That arithmetic, rather than any Arcus rule, is the real minimum withdrawal on those routes.
When a withdrawal does not arrive
Two causes account for most of it.
- Gas. No ETH on Robinhood Chain means no signable transaction, and the symptom is often a button that does nothing rather than a clear error.
- Bridge latency. A bridged withdrawal that is slower than its estimate is usually still in progress.
The funding guide covers getting ETH there, and it is the same requirement that blocks first trades. For a slow bridge, the destination chain’s explorer, not the Arcus interface, is where you check.
Arcus has reported no security incident, exploit or outage as of 2 October 2026, so a delay is more likely to be a route problem than a platform one, though “none reported” is not the same as “none ever”. The troubleshooting page lists the usual suspects, and the security page covers what has and has not been audited.
Who can withdraw at all
Withdrawal only becomes a question if you could deposit in the first place, and Arcus is not available in the United States, the United Kingdom or Canada, plus other restricted jurisdictions in the Terms. Sanctioned persons and comprehensively sanctioned regions are excluded, and the minimum age is 18. The country rules cover it properly.
Risks worth stating plainly
Self-custody cuts both ways. Arcus never holding your keys means no counterparty can freeze your balance, and also that an address typo, a lost login or a signed approval you did not read is final. Perps positions can be liquidated before you get a chance to withdraw anything, and most leveraged traders lose money.
Stock Tokens are issued by Bitstamp Global Ltd and are not shares, with no voting rights, no dividend claim as such, no guaranteed redemption and a price that can diverge from the underlying; the Stock Tokens page goes into that, and the liquidation page covers how positions close against you. Nothing here is financial advice.
One last note on expectations. Fast withdrawals are a real feature, but they are a property of Robinhood Chain rather than a promise about the rest of the journey. Getting money from an Arcus balance back into a bank account still involves at least one venue that is not Arcus, and that leg has its own timings, fees and verification requirements.
Questions people ask
How long does an Arcus withdrawal take?
The help centre describes withdrawals to a wallet on Robinhood Chain as taking a few seconds. Withdrawals to any other chain go through a bridge, and Arcus shows an estimated completion time before you approve rather than quoting a fixed figure.
Is there a minimum withdrawal on Arcus?
No minimum is published for withdrawals to a Robinhood Chain wallet, and no protocol cap either. Bridge routes to other chains may impose their own floors, since those are run by third parties rather than by Arcus.
What does it cost to withdraw from Arcus?
Gas on Robinhood Chain, paid in ETH, for a same-chain withdrawal. For other chains, add the bridge's own network and service fees, which vary by route. Arcus says it adds nothing of its own and shows a breakdown before you approve.
Can I withdraw directly to a bank account?
Arcus documents fiat on-ramps rather than a fiat off-ramp, so no bank withdrawal route is published. In practice that means withdrawing USDG or another asset on-chain and converting it somewhere that supports cash-out, which is outside Arcus.
Why is my Arcus withdrawal stuck?
The two usual causes are no ETH on Robinhood Chain to pay gas, and a bridge still working through its own confirmation window. Arcus shows an estimated time for bridged transfers, and that estimate is the number to measure against.
Do I need to close perps positions before withdrawing?
Collateral backing an open perps position is not free to withdraw. Perps collateral sits in Robinhood Chain contracts and moves only under user-authorised conditions, so reducing or closing a position frees the margin behind it first.
